Guild Settings lets you choose who can join your TMB guild, what members can see and edit, and which features your guild uses. You need permissions to view and change these settings.
Open your guild, then choose Guild → Settings. You need permission to edit guild settings to open this page. The guild owner has this permission. After changing the form, press Save at the bottom of the page.
How do Discord roles work with TMB?
A Discord role is a label given to people on your server, such as Raider or Officer. TMB uses those roles to decide what people can do in your guild.
Under Permissions, choose which Discord role should be used for each TMB role:
- Guild Master Role
- Officer Role
- Raid Leader Role
- Auditor Role
The list below each choice shows what that role can do. Auditor is for people who need to view restricted wishlists and prios.
For example, if your Discord officers have a role called Loot Council, choose Loot Council under Officer Role. That gives people with that Discord role the TMB permissions listed below it. The Discord role does not have to be named “Officer.”
If a role is missing from the choices, use the sync roles link in the Permissions section to open the Roles page. Someone with permission to sync roles can refresh TMB's list from Discord.
What if a Discord role is missing or out of date?
Use sync roles in the Permissions section to open the Roles page, then choose Sync Roles. You need permission to sync Discord roles. TMB refreshes the available roles from the linked Discord server, including changed names and colors.
Return to Guild Settings and check the selected roles. If someone deleted a Discord role and created another with the same name, select the new role and save. Matching names do not make them the same role.
Syncing refreshes TMB's role list. It does not give anyone a role in Discord or change your permission choices for you. Give the person the intended role on Discord first.
Who can join our guild?
The Members choices decide which Discord roles let people into your TMB guild. A person needs any one of the roles you select. They do not need all of them.
For example, if you select Raider and Trial, someone with either role can join. The Discord roles selected for Guild Master, Officer, and Raid Leader can also join.
The Auditor role does not grant entry by itself. If your guild restricts joining, give the auditor one of the allowed member roles or also add their Discord role under Members.
Leaving all Members choices empty removes the role requirement. People on the linked Discord server can then pass the join check without a specific role. A disabled guild or disabled member profile can still block access.
Being allowed to join does not give someone officer permissions. Those come from the role choices above.
Why can't a member open the guild or use a feature?
Check access and editing permissions separately:
- Confirm the person signed in with the Discord account that belongs to the linked server.
- Check that the TMB bot is still on that server.
- If joining requires a role, confirm the person has one of the allowed roles in Discord.
- If they can enter but cannot use a management feature, check the role mapped to that feature's permissions in Guild Settings.
- Check whether the guild or their TMB member profile has been disabled.
After a Discord role change, have the person wait a short time and reopen the guild so TMB can refresh its access check. Sync Roles refreshes the server's available role list; it is not a command to grant access or refresh every member's displayed roles at once.

Is the Guild Master role the same as the guild owner?
No. Guild Owner is the person who owns this guild on TMB. Guild Master Role is a Discord role that receives the permissions shown on the settings page.
The owner can use the guild's settings and management tools without being assigned one of those Discord roles. Changing the role choices does not transfer ownership or lock the owner out.
How do I control wishlists?
The Wishlists section has separate controls for using lists, editing them, and seeing them:

| Max Wishlist Items | Limits the number of items in a list. Existing lists are affected when they are resubmitted. |

Locking a list does not hide it. Hiding a list does not lock it. Changing the current list does not lock the other lists.

How do I control prios?
- Disable prios turns off the feature without deleting saved prios.
- Limit prio visibility to Raid Leaders hides character prios from members who do not have permission to view them. The separate priority text written on an item stays visible.
- Prio ranks to show limits how many ranks ordinary viewers can see, such as the top three. This also hides prio events from their audit log. People with permission to view restricted prios can still see the full list.

What happens to wishlists and prios when someone gets loot?
Wishlists and prios each have a By default, delete items … when they are distributed option. These set the starting choices on the Assign Loot form. You can change those choices when submitting an assignment.
The assignment can remove matching entries or keep them marked as received. Changing a default in Guild Settings does not change old awards or clean up existing lists.

Can members edit their received loot or raid group?
Lock loot received stops ordinary members from editing their characters' received-loot lists. Authorized loot editors can still edit them, and a member can be given an exception.
Don't let members set their raid group stops ordinary members from changing their characters' raid-group membership. Authorized raid editors can still change it.

What do the attendance and tier settings do?
Don't show attendance hides attendance figures on supported displays, such as roster rows and the characters listed beside item wishlists and prios. It does not delete your raid records.
Attendance decay rate means how far back TMB looks when counting attendance. Choose a time period or No limit. Older raids stay recorded even when they fall outside that period.
Tier mode chooses how your guild's item tiers are shown: S-tier, Numbered, or Off. You assign tiers to items through Item Notes. Changing the display mode does not rate the items for you.

Can I change the guild name or show a message?
You can change the Guild Name and choose Horde or Alliance as the guild's faction.
Turn on Show Message of the Day and/or Rules to write a short message for your guildmates. The message can contain up to 500 characters. Turning off an existing message and saving clears its text; it is not kept as a hidden draft.
The top of the settings page also lists TMB guilds linked to the same Discord server. A New … Guild link creates another TMB guild for the chosen expansion. It does not change the expansion of this guild.
What does connecting Warcraft Logs do?
Connect to Warcraft Logs links an account that TMB can use to fetch log data, such as characters and raid attendees. The page shows who linked the account.
After connecting, you can enter a Warcraft Logs Guild ID. This is the number from your guild's Warcraft Logs URL. It identifies the guild there; it is separate from connecting the account.
To disconnect, select Unlink Warcraft Logs account and save. This does not delete data already imported into TMB. You can connect an account again later.
How do I change the guild's Discord server?
Change Discord Server links your existing TMB guild to a different Discord server. Only the current TMB guild owner can make this change.
- Open Guild → Settings.
- Select change beside Discord Server ID.
- Use the bot link on that page to add the TMB bot to the new server.
- Choose the new server, confirm that you have added the bot, and submit the form.
Your TMB guild keeps its characters, loot history, and other records. Members need to be on the new Discord server to access it. Review the guild's role settings too: roles belong to a particular Discord server, so the old server's roles do not become roles on the new one.
This changes which server TMB uses for access. It does not move people between Discord servers or change the servers themselves.
How do I change the guild owner?
Change Guild Owner hands ownership of the TMB guild to another member. Only the current TMB guild owner can do this. The new owner must already be a member of the guild on TMB.
- Open Guild → Settings.
- Select change beside Guild Owner.
- Choose the person under New Guild Owner. The list shows their member name and Discord name so you can check that you have the right person.
- Press I want to lose ownership and give it to this member, then confirm the change.
That person becomes the owner as soon as you submit the change. You lose the access that came from being the owner; your remaining access depends on your membership and roles. To get ownership back, you need the new owner to transfer it to you.
This transfers ownership on TMB. It does not change who owns your Discord server. Choosing a different Guild Master Role also does not transfer ownership.
Can I disable the guild and bring it back later?
Yes. The owner can select Disable guild and save. Ordinary members can no longer open the guild's pages; they are shown its name and Message of the Day instead.
The records stay saved. The owner can return to Guild Settings, clear Disable guild, and save to restore access.
