Wishlists

Summary

A wishlist tells your guild which items your character wants most. Open your character's profile, choose wishlist & loot, add items, drag them into order, and press Save. Your guild decides how to use those ranks when giving out loot.

How do I make or edit my wishlist?

Wishlists are optional. They are separate from officer prios, which rank characters for a particular item.

Open your character's wishlist & loot editor and find Wishlist (see how to open the editor).

1. Check which numbered wishlist is selected.
2. Type an item name into the search field and select the item you want.
3. Drag the items into your preferred order.
4. Press Save.

You can edit your own character's lists when your guild allows it. Editing someone else's lists requires permission. If your list is locked, contact an officer. If the guild has disabled wishlists, the wishlist section is not available.

What do the wishlist numbers mean?

Each character can have up to ten separate wishlists, numbered 1 through 10. Each list has its own items and order.

The list number is different from an item's rank. Wishlist 2 means your second list. Rank 2 means the second item within a list.

Use the wishlist dropdown in the editor to choose a list. Save your changes before switching, because switching opens another page.

What is the current wishlist?

The guild chooses one number as its Current Wishlist. TMB uses that list by default around the site. The other numbered lists are called inactive.

For example, if the guild chooses Wishlist 2 as current, members' second lists become the default. Their first lists still exist.

Changing the current number does not copy, clear, or lock any list. An inactive list can still be edited if the guild's lock rules allow it. It may be a list for future content, not necessarily an old list.

Can we name our lists or limit their size?

Yes. In Guild Settings, the guild can give each list number a custom name, such as “Phase 2.” These names apply to that numbered list across the guild, not just to one character. Removing the custom names returns the lists to numbered labels.

Max Wishlist Items sets the size limit for each list, up to 100 items. The editor shows your guild's limit. Lowering it does not immediately trim saved lists, but the new limit applies when a list is resubmitted.

How do I change the order or remove an item?

Drag an item to change its place in the list, then save. The item at the top has rank 1.

Use the remove control beside an item to take it out of the form. Clear wishlist removes all items from the selected list's form. Press Save to keep either change. Clearing one numbered list does not clear the others.

TMB can store more than one entry for the same item. Check for unwanted duplicates, especially after importing a list.

What do Note, OS, and Received mean?

These controls belong to an individual wishlist entry. Save after changing them.

Turning off Note hides its text field. To delete the note, erase the text and save.

Marking an entry Received does not add an award to the character's loot history. Clearing the marker does not delete an award either. Use Assign Loot or the character's Loot Received section to record what the character actually received.

Can I import a list from a gear planner?

The editor has an import option for supported Sixty Upgrades and WoWSims exports. It accepts exported JSON text—the data from the planner's export feature, rather than the address of your planner page.

1. Choose the numbered wishlist you want to edit.
2. Open the import section and paste the exported text.
3. Select Import to wishlist.
4. Check the items that appeared, put them in your preferred order, and press Save.

Importing adds items to the list already in the open form. It does not replace that list or save it. If you want to replace the list, use Clear wishlist before importing, then review the result before saving.

Read any import messages about invalid input or items over the limit. Check the actual list as well, especially if it already had items in it. Importing a gear set does not decide your loot priorities for you.

Where can I view and compare wishlists?

Your character profile shows the current wishlist. Use show inactive wishlists to reveal other numbered lists that contain items.

The guild's Roster and instance loot pages let you compare wishlists. Their wishlist selectors can show the current list, another number, or all lists. Changing that selector only changes what you are viewing; it does not change the guild's Current Wishlist setting.

Lists can be displayed in rank order or grouped by dungeon. Grouping by dungeon does not change the saved ranks. Other members' lists may be hidden by the guild's visibility settings.

The editor also links to see what other people wishlisted. That opens Wishlist statistics, not just your guild's lists. Popularity shows what people have listed; it is not a rule for how you should rank your own items.

What happens when I receive an item on my wishlist?

When loot is submitted through Assign Loot, TMB can remove matching wishlist entries or keep them marked Received, depending on the choices made on that form.

Matching can affect your other numbered lists too, not only the current one. It can also match an item through its token or reward relationship. If the same item appears more than once within a list, one award does not fulfill every copy.

Adding a new item directly to Loot Received has a separate option to mark matching prios and wishlist entries as received. It does not use the batch assignment's delete option.

Some items need manual updates, and reversing an award does not automatically recreate wishlist entries that were removed. See Loot assignment and Received loot for the full details.
