How to prepare for your first raid

Before the raid, check your characters, finish any lists you use, and make sure someone is ready to record loot. Skip the wishlist and prio steps if your guild only wants loot history.

1. Check your roster. Open Roster > Roster and make sure the characters who will receive loot are listed with the correct names. Have players join and create their characters, or add missing characters yourself if you have permission.
2. Choose who will record loot. Make sure they have permission to assign loot in TMB. If you use Gargul or RCLootCouncil (RCLC), check that the addon is configured to record awards and that the person handing out loot knows how to use it. Installing an addon alone does not ensure it captures loot.
3. If you use wishlists, review them. Check that players filled in the intended numbered list. If your guild expects priorities to stay fixed, lock wishlists after players finish and before awarding loot.
4. If you use prios, review the recipient order. Check the correct raid group's lists and save any changes. See How to set your first item prios.
5. If you use Gargul for wishlists or prios, import your latest TMB data. Open Guild > Exports. Under Gargul, choose the wishlist numbers you want, press Export, then Click to copy. Import that text into Gargul and check that the expected characters and priorities appear. See Gargul export details.

Exporting does not lock wishlists. If you change lists afterward, export and import again to update Gargul.

If you track attendance, you can also create a raid. Review who actually attended and their credit before saving the final attendance.
