Character Item History
On this page
Open Raids > Character Item History to compare characters across recorded runs. This page is read-only: it does not change attendance, reservations, or awards.
How do I choose what to compare?
Character names show their current saved spec icon when it is recognized; hover over the icon for its spec name. These icons do not record which spec was used in each past raid.
All guild characters are selected initially, including inactive characters. Use the character selector to narrow the rows. The page shows past, non-cancelled raids, with the latest 10 selected by default. Choose 5, 10, 15, or 20 Raids per page to adjust the comparison window. Horizontal Compact initially uses 20 raids; Detailed initially uses your existing count, or 10 if none was saved. Each horizontal mode remembers its own count. Archived raids are included and labelled. Changing characters does not change the shared set of raids.
The row beneath the toolbar has four dropdowns with icons beside their labels: Raid Group, Class, Role, and Dungeon. They start at All for each visit and are not remembered on reload.
- Raid Group, Class, and Role filter the character rows together: a character must match every chosen filter. Group matching uses either their current primary or secondary guild raid group; class and role use their current values. These filters do not change the raid columns.
- Filtering preserves your individual character checkbox choices. The character picker lists only characters matching those three filters, and its search narrows the visible names further. Select all and Clear selection affect every character matching the filters, including matching names hidden by the picker's search. Clearing a filter restores previously selected rows that it had hidden.
- Dungeon filters the guild's complete eligible raid history before pagination, including dungeons from earlier expansions. Choosing a dungeon returns to its newest matching raids and updates the total and date range. It does not limit the all-history last-receipt or raids-since-receipt summaries.
The Received and Reserved checkboxes in that row start checked. Unchecking either hides that type's item lists and in-raid counts, icons, and legend entry in Detailed, Compact, Vertical histories, and the inspector. Unchecking Received also hides the last-received item's name and link; its date, history scope, and waiting-time figures remain. These controls change visibility only: character received-summary totals, counting rules, rows, and raid columns do not change. The choices stay in effect while switching views or browsing raids, and reset to checked on reload.
Use Previous for newer raids and Next for older raids. Each moves by the selected number of raids. The controls show the displayed range, the total eligible raids, and the window's date range. Previous is disabled on the newest page; Next is disabled at the end. The final page can contain fewer raids than the selected count. Changing the count opens the new page containing the first currently displayed raid, and the chosen count is remembered.
The newest 20 unfiltered raids are loaded with the page. Older raids and newly selected dungeon histories are fetched in batches of up to 20 only when needed and kept in memory for the current visit. Each dungeon selection, including All, keeps its own loaded history; returning to already loaded matching windows uses that data without another request. Both orientations share the loaded data and character selections. Opening Vertical keeps the current raid window. Returning to Horizontal restores the active horizontal mode's saved count and selects the page containing the first currently displayed raid. Switching between Detailed and Compact does the same for the newly selected mode. These changes fetch only if the resulting window needs older data that has not been loaded; changing the count in Vertical does not overwrite either horizontal mode's saved count. Only the displayed window is rendered, so browsing older raids does not add hidden tables to the page.
While raids load, the current comparison stays visible, and navigation, the count selector, and view/mode buttons are disabled. If a dungeon change or older batch fails to load, the current dungeon selection, window, and previously loaded data remain available; use Retry to try again. Reloading the page starts a fresh visit with the newest raids; browsing does not refresh imports.
- Horizontal view puts characters down the left and raids across the top, newest first. Detailed / Compact, beneath the Horizontal view button, changes how those raid columns are displayed. Detailed is the initial default. Both modes use the available screen width and normal page scrolling; raid headings stay visible as you browse characters.
- Detailed shows raid names and short dungeon names in the headers, with full dungeon names available on hover and item names wrapping within the columns. Full attendance credit is shown as a ✓ checkmark; hover over it for the percentage. Show items / Hide items, beside the sort-direction arrow, toggles full lists of the enabled item types.
- Compact shows the short date and year with short dungeon names beneath them, and uses narrow cells containing attendance indicators and reserve/received counts. Hover over a dungeon abbreviation to see its full name. Full raid information is available from each header, including a link to the raid. The character summary on the left shows time since the last item with the raid count in parentheses, with full, localized duration units, such as 0 days since last item (0r) or 5 years since last item (2r), followed by the last item with its short receipt date. It uses the site’s standard day/month/year thresholds: months start at 26 rounded days and years at 11 rounded months; the tooltip keeps the exact day and raid counts. A Displayed raids heading separates those all-history figures from the received-reserved and received-other counts. Compact omits the attended-raid total. Detailed uses the same order with separate waiting-time lines, the full receipt date, and the attended-raid total beneath the received counts. In Compact, hover over the receipt date for the full timestamp and any unlinked/outside-displayed-raids context. Select a listed cell to open full item details; the inspect control also works from the keyboard. Compact shows counts for enabled item types and hides the Show items / Hide items control.
- Vertical view starts with a sortable character summary. Expand a character to browse their raids, reservations, and awards, newest first. Its Show items / Hide items control expands or collapses character histories; if any displayed history is open, Hide items collapses them all.
Desktop opens in Horizontal view; narrow screens open in Vertical view. An explicitly chosen layout is remembered and is not overridden by resizing the window. Dates display in your browser's local timezone. The horizontal detail mode is also remembered; changing it does not reset character selection, sorting, or the Detailed item-visibility choice.
What do Compact indicators mean?
- ✓ means full attendance credit. A percentage shows partial or zero credit. EX means Excused, using a short abbreviation in your selected language. Attendance indicators are omitted when the guild hides attendance.
- The bookmark shows the number of reserves; the loot bag shows received items. Zero counts and disabled item types are omitted. A subtle green highlight marks cells with received loot; the count and icon remain visible so the meaning does not depend on colour alone.
- A single - means the character is not listed in the raid. These cells do not open the inspector.
Counts include duplicate entries. Open the inspector to see the enabled item types' names, quantities, tooltips, and which received items matched recorded reserves. The compact legend and accessible labels explain the symbols; short headers retain full raid information.
What do the displayed-raid totals mean?
These totals cover only the displayed 5, 10, 15, or 20 raids:
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Attended X/Y | X displayed raids with positive credit and without Excused status, out of Y displayed raids. Partial credit counts as one attended raid. |
| Received reserved | Received-item records with an exact matching item reservation for that character in the same raid. |
| Received other | Received-item records without that matching recorded reservation. |
Each received record counts once. Reserving the same item several times does not multiply the received count. Repeated item records are grouped with quantities in the item lists. The item sections are labelled Reserves and Received. A section with no items is omitted entirely, including its heading and count. Character summary totals still show zero when appropriate.
Received other does not prove that the item was never reserved. Reservations may be missing, incomplete, or not imported for that run. A reserve records intent, and an award records receipt; neither establishes whether an item dropped, a roll was lost, or the character was eligible for every item.
A dash in a raid cell means the character is not listed in that raid. It is distinct from a saved zero-credit entry and from Excused. The cell shows only the dash even if an award remains linked to that character and raid. Those linked awards still contribute to the character summary's received totals; removing an attendee does not erase an award.
Raids marked attendance ignored remain in this comparison and its participation counts. These counts describe saved positive-credit entries; they do not apply the guild's attendance decay window, attendance delay, or selected attendance-group filter. They can therefore differ from official guild attendance statistics. Attendance figures and statuses are hidden when the guild hides attendance.
What do the waiting-time summaries mean?
These summaries use all recorded received loot and qualifying past raids, rather than only the displayed raid window:
- Last received includes received items without a raid association. TMB uses the received date when set, or the record's creation date otherwise.
- Days since receipt measures elapsed time from that effective received date.
- Raids attended since receipt counts later positive-credit, non-excused raids, including archived and ignored-attendance raids. When the award has a linked raid, that raid's date defines the run boundary and its own raid is excluded. Otherwise, TMB uses the effective received timestamp.
No item recorded means there is no received-item record for that character. TMB leaves elapsed-time figures blank rather than inventing a starting date. An unlinked award can update the waiting-time summary but cannot appear in a particular raid's item list. The last-received item is marked Not linked to a raid or Outside displayed raids when it cannot contribute to the displayed-raid receipt totals. A character can therefore have a last-received item while both displayed-raid receipt counts are zero.
How do I export this comparison?
Use Export comparison in the toolbar in either view. Choose one download:
| Download | Contents |
|---|---|
| Character summaries (CSV) | One row per selected character, with displayed-raid received totals and participation, plus all-history last-item and waiting-time figures. |
| Raid and item details (CSV) | One row per character, displayed raid, and item ID, with reserved, received-reserved, and received-other quantities. A character/raid pair without items still has one row, with blank item fields and zero quantities. |
| Complete comparison (JSON) | A single structured file containing the selected scope, character summaries, displayed raids, every character/raid cell, and referenced item names. |
The same menu provides View character summaries (CSV), View raid and item details (CSV), and View JSON. Each opens the corresponding result as raw, copyable text in a new tab, with the same scope, fields, privacy, and CSV text treatment as its download. Use Select All and Copy in that tab (Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C; Cmd+A/C on macOS). If the browser blocks the tab, allow pop-ups for TMB and choose the view again.
The export captures the selected characters that also match Raid Group, Class, and Role, in the current sort order. It includes only the current displayed raid window for the chosen Dungeon, not other raid pages kept in memory. Search inside the character picker only helps find checkboxes; it does not change the exported selection.
Both reserves and received items are exported even when Received, Reserved, or Show items / Hide items hides their presentation. Orientation, Detailed/Compact, and expanded character histories do not narrow the export. Downloads and new-tab views contain the underlying data rather than screenshots of the table. The action is disabled while raids load, while another export is being generated, or if no characters or raids are selected. A failed raid navigation leaves the previous valid window exportable once loading ends.
The details include saved item quantities even for a character not listed in a raid. Those cells show only a dash on the page, but their linked awards still affect the received-summary totals. listed_in_raid in CSV and listed in JSON distinguish those records from attendance. Receipt quantities count actual awards: duplicate reserves do not multiply them. A received item matches only an item reserved by that character in that raid.
Item quantities can be summed. Attendance values repeat for each item row, so count participation by distinct character/raid pairs or use the summaries CSV instead of counting detail rows. Displayed-raid totals cover the exported window; last-item dates, days since last item, and raids since last item use the all-history values already loaded by the page. A missing date or item definition remains blank/null rather than an invented date or name. Missing item definitions retain known IDs. If attendance is hidden, credit, excuse flags, attended totals, and raids-since-last-item figures are blank in CSV and null in JSON. Membership and item history remain available; they do not establish attendance.
The file describes loaded page data, not a new database snapshot. It records the page's raid cutoff as history_cutoff_utc; that cutoff is not proof that all loaded batches came from one save state. A later batch can reflect changes made after the initial page load. Reload before exporting if you need newly saved records. Exporting itself makes no request for more raids, does not contact Softres.it, and never changes saved records. Each menu choice captures a new comparison; use JSON when you want summaries and details from one identical capture.
Files use schema version 1, stable English machine-readable field names, UTC ISO 8601 timestamps, and raw numeric counts/days rather than localized duration text. CSV quotes embedded punctuation and line breaks; array fields contain JSON arrays. Scalar text starting with a spreadsheet formula marker, including after leading spaces/control characters, is prefixed with an apostrophe. JSON keeps the original text and native numeric, boolean, array, and null values. Item names are plain loaded metadata, without rendered links or tooltip HTML. Notes, member/account identifiers, and private wishlist/prio content are excluded.
Generation works in chunks so the page can remain usable after the comparison is captured. Only the selected characters and up to 20 displayed raids are captured, but the browser still needs memory proportional to the generated file. Very large character selections or dense item histories can take longer; the downloadable file is assembled in browser memory. See Exports for filenames and the distinction from the occurrence-level reservation export.
Where do I correct the records?
Character and raid links open their existing pages. Item links open the guild item page, using rarity colours, icons, and hover tooltips. Missing item definitions fall back to an item ID.
Use the raid editor to correct attendance or reservations, or received loot to correct an award and its linked raid. For a single character's complete attendance-linked history, use their profile.
This comparison does not calculate bad-luck-protection points, assign loot priorities, or automatically mark reserves fulfilled. It shows recorded history for your review, without officer or private notes.
